Frequently asked questions

Q) How much will my project cost?

A) Costs are based on an hourly studio rate – we then add on any material and production costs. We regularly check our prices against those of industry-standard competitors and we are always competitive across the board on price.

Q) How long will a project take?

A) This obviously depends on the project. Newsletters typically take ten days or so, websites and prospectuses tend to vary – but often take four weeks or more to produce. If you have a tight deadline, let us know and we’ll plan the project so that it runs smoothly and meets your deadline.

Q) Can you take care of everything so that we don’t have to write text or mess around with photos?

A) Yes – we offer a full service, from design and consultancy services through to print and production. If there are aspects of a project that you’d like to get involved in yourself, no problem. Alternatively, if you prefer to hand the whole project over to us, we’ll take care of it for you, leaving you free to concentrate on teaching or management.

Q) Will the design be individual to us?

A) Yes – we don’t use any design templates. This means that whether it is a website, a prospectus, a logo or a newsletter – it will be designed specifically for you, from scratch.

Q) What if we have a very small budget?

A) No problem - we can tailor the size and scale of a project to suit a specific budget.

Q) Are amends and updates included within the price?

A) Yes – we will carry out any reasonable nominal amends and updates, within the estimated price. We’ll always try to let you know if there are likely be any additional charges incurred in a project before they arise.

Q) Are your staff CRB registered?

A) Yes – all members of our core staff are CRB checked.

Q) Are you available for meetings in and out of term time?

A) Yes.

Q) What happens if something goes wrong?

A) In the unusual event of something going wrong with your design project, we will rectify the issue to your satisfaction, whenever possible.

Q) How do I place an order?

A) Just confirm in writing that you accept the relevant quoted price, together with any associated terms and conditions. This can be done by email, verbally or in writing - we’ll get things moving from there.

Q) Do we need to place a deposit with larger projects?

A) For the vast majority of projects, deposits or part-payments are unnecessary. If we require a deposit or part-payment, we will make you aware of this prior to you placing the order with us.
